“High Definition” Fretboards for 10- and 12-string Steels Price: $30.00 each (all styles)

• Sho-Bud 12-string boards (black background only)
• Sho-Bud 10-string white or black background (be sure to specify)

• MSA 10-string boards, white or black background (be sure to specify)
• Dekley 10- and 12-string boards (black background only)

These boards have high definition markings and are made of 20-gauge vinyl, with an adhesive backing. Their markings are silk-screened with non-glare paint and otherwise possess the identical colors and fret-markings as originally provided by the brands listed. They are all for 24” guitar necks and cannot be used on any other guitar with a shorter or longer neck length. If so used, the intonation of that guitar will not be correct! When ordering, be sure to specify if you are replacing a 10- or 12-string fretboard.

Why replacement boards? In my guitar restoration work, I got tired of having to put the old boards back on guitars that otherwise looked new. Since models of Sho-Bud, Dekley and MSA guitar were no longer built; the only way to have new fretboards for those brands was to have them made. I did, and I’m now making them available to anyone wanting to dress up their own guitars.

Note: I’ve sold these to owners of other brands of guitars. They will likely fit, but only guitars having neck lengths (from the centers of nut and bridge) that are 24 inches are appropriate for proper intonation.
