MXR Custom Shop Resonator Pedal
resonator_m

The MXR Custom Shop Resonator Pedal is an item I developed and the Dunlop Company is manufacturing for me. Every player of any amplified instrument needs to try this device. Read on.

With the Resonator, your steel, electric guitar or about any amplified instrument will project the sound of the resonator guitar, be it the Dobro, National or any other brand. It clips to your guitar's leg, to a microphone stand, or if the clip is removed, will sit flat on the floor or on any pedal board. It is powered by an 18 volt power supply (a typical “wall wart”). Click for the Resonator Owner's Manual (.pdf).

I have provided sound samples (with tab), below. You will be treated to a superb performance with the Resonator by the noted guitarist, Mark van Allen. As you listen, think of how the Resonator will bring new dynamics to your repertoire of sounds. I offer one caution: for best results your delivery should be in the style of the players of resonator guitars.

The additional links are instruction material by Mark to get you in the “resonator groove”. Click on those links and print out Fred Amendola’s precise tablature of those licks and runs.

ORDER the Resonator knowing that if it doesn’t expand your performance within 10 days, I want it back. I’ll then send you a full refund of your purchased price. …Tom
