jai is a an incredibly talented musician, known mostly for his last three india-flavored albums. not many people know it, but jai is actually a wankin' banjo player (check out the fretless banjo stuff at the end of walkabout), and, when holding an acoustic guitar, will go into 'cowboy jai mode', playing all kinds of authentic western cowboy songs. who knew?!?
