Why offer replacement boards? In my restoration work on pedal steels, I got tired of having to put the old boards back on guitars that otherwise looked new. Since Sho-Bud, Dekley and MSA "Classics" are no longer made, the only way to have new fretboards for those brands was to have them made. I did, and I'm now making them available to others who might want to dress up their own guitars.

Some facts: All these fretboards are for 24" neck-lengths, which all of the three-mentioned guitars had. The boards are made of .020 gauge vinyl and have an adhesive backing. Their colors are identical to the boards they replace. However, buyers have reported that the boards are more pleasing to the eye, because of the semi-gloss (non-glare) finish and the crisp definition in the symbols, the fret lines, and the fret markers.
