Lion in the Living Room (1996) serves up more of Susan's sensual vocals and intelligent, haunting songs, set in left-of- center alternative acoustic arrangements by guitarist/producer Tom Manche. Joining the band for Susan's Room second album are bassist Ritt Henn and drummer Albe Bonacci. Highlights include the catchy see-she-CAN-write-a-happy-love-song "Say It's Love", the dumped groom saga "I Left You Waiting", the quirky tale of a neighbor-from-hell "The Guy Downstairs", and the title track, which helped Susan win the 1996 Napa Fest Songwriting Contest.
