Lawnmower Man
Room #5
If you fly straight up the north coast
See the mansions made of stone
Where the rich folk close their drapes to me
And the grass will never stop growing
There's a tiny shape on that endless green
Slowly moving, never stops
And a puff of smoke comes from behind
That's me, I'm doing my job
I'm the lawnmower man
I'm lucky as can be
I will never be rich
But I have more than I need
I'm the lawnmower man
The owner here pays a decent wage
And he always treats me right
I have always loved to work the land
Though I've heard it's fine inside
I'm the lawnmower man..
The owner's wife knows me by name
She comes round all perfume and poise
I am covered with sweat, she likes it that way
And the engine covers our noise
I'm the lawnmower man...
